On our last night in Cape Town, Rohan and I were sitting in our balcony and talking about our trip and how we created some kick ass memories that will last us a lifetime.

We talked about how many people we surprised this trip just by travelling with kids and we high-fived at making this trip a success.

It was a moment of pride and one filled with so much happiness and contentment. THIS was the moment we looked at each other and had the exact same thought at the exact same time. We sat there talking late into the night but this is when our third baby was born…

Thailand was easily one of those countries where we used the most types of transportations. From boats and ferries to Tuk Tuks to coach buses to taxis to rafts, we did it all!

🇹🇭 Boats/Ferries: This is the most popular way of traveling between islands or along coastal regions. Long tail boats are usually the slowest while speedboats save you a ton of time!

🇹🇭 Raft: Rafting along the Sok River was definitely a highlight in Khao Sok National Park 😍

🇹🇭 Tuk-Tuks: Used for short trips within cities and a great way to travel around in Bangkok, Phuket or the bigger cities.

🇹🇭 Domestic Flights: Ideal for long-distance travel between major cities, saving time especially when going from north to south. Domestic flights within Thailand are relatively cheaper. Budget airlines are usually the cheapest but do not offer any baggage.

If you are planning to use taxis, download the app called Grab. It is cheaper to order a taxi on Grab than trying to negotiate a price there. Also, you can set up the app in your home country and the payment goes through your credit card 😃

This trip was wild but it was one of the best trips of our lifetime 🤣

One evening we were surprised with a Thai cooking class organized by our guide.. little did anyone know that this would soon convert into an Indian cooking class 😂🤣

The night ended with all of us eating a blend of Indian and Thai food and it was honestly one of our most memorable evenings 😍

It’s amazing to see how people’s biggest love language across the world is food. Food brings people together and food strengthens so many bonds 🥰

Not only did I come back home with spices from their kitchen but we left a lot of recipes in their kitchen too 🙃

Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This place turned out to be quite different than what I anticipated..

I’d seen so many photos and videos of this beautiful place and HAD to add it into our itinerary. Don’t get me wrong. Every single person from our group of 19 that went here absolutely loved it.

But you know what?

When you see it on Instagram, you think it’s a huge waterfall with natural beauty surrounding it. The colour of the water, the rocks in the water, every bit of it looks out of this world.

Here’s the thing. It’s not! It’s completely man made. Every bit of it! The place is a theme park which consists of waterfalls, caves, pathways, colourful fields and beautiful spots to sit down.

It also makes you want to take a ton of photos. From every angle, inside and outside of the caves and when you climb the mountains 😍 the one thing I couldn’t get over was the mist. In the midst of Chiang Mai heat, the mist was SOO refreshing!

If you’re planning a trip to Chiang Mai, add the Dantewada waterfalls to your list!

It’s been YEARS since Rohan or I sat on one but the girls? This was their first time. No car seats, no designated seats just the speed and their crazy hair. They had an absolute blast on the busy Bangkok streets 🤩

What is shown is absolutely not wrong but know that popular tourist spots can be crowded at times, and experiences might vary based on the season of visit.

The reality of Thailand often includes its beautiful landscapes, diverse culture, delicious food, and vibrant cities.

There is charm on the streets of Thailand. All those food stalls lining the streets, the night markets and walking streets, all the shows. All of these also make up Thailand 🩵😘

You guys, I’d heard how amazing the food scene in Bangkok was but I wasn’t prepared to see what I saw 🙈

The food scene in Bangkok is BEYOND anything you will ever see or imagine. The food stalls on the sides of the roads has some of the most delicious food. There are little stools set up along the counters to sit and eat as well 😍

The options are limitless and the food is so cheap and ranges from 100-300 Baht. The night food markets are even more fun and busy! Definitely an experience and something you should try when you visit!
